Anyone who wants to hunt partridge in Flanders must 1) count the number of pairs on their hunting area according to a standardized counting method, and since this year 2) must pass on all data digitally via an app on the smartphone or via a web application on the desktop. The counting period started on January 15, and the use of the counting software is mandatory. In order to support its members as much as possible, Hubertus Vereniging Vlaanderen, among other things, made a number of short videos with tips & tricks about the new app. Want to know more? 5 tips & tricks: how do I use the new partridge counting app?
The new partridge counting app was created by the Flemish government, without the participation of the hunting sector. Consequence? The software is not always easy to use. HVV employee Miel Cnuts therefore made five short videos on the YouTube channel of Hubertus Vereniging Vlaanderen, in which he gives one handy tip each time when using the app.

- Tip #2: How do I work with ‘layers’?
- Tip #3: How do I enter an observation?
- Tip #4: How do I change a perception?
- Tip #5: Where and how do I download the app?
Be sure to forward these videos to hunters who may experience problems with the app. Or contact Miel Cnuts via an email.
