For Luxembourg, we can actually be brief.
On the one hand, everything is very clear on the website:
- Website – Guichet-Lu
- Document – Hunting exam Luxembourg
On the other hand, becoming a Hunter in Luxembourg is quite difficult, complicated and therefore takes a long time.
One of the biggest restrictions is the compulsory apprenticeship with a Luxembourg hunter that lasts a minimum of 1 year and where one must be on the revier at least 20 times. Including participation in 2 sitting hunts, 2 bershows and 2 battues, where one must then also demonstrate the evisceration of 2 pieces of big game.
And also the lessons can count, 30 2-hour lessons.
But the practice is not really easy either:
- Theory exam with an oral test
- Bullet practice at 100m with 3/5
- Bullet practice on “walking pig”
- Hail practice is not so bad then 5/15
