Rifle belt stopper
Most jackets have a special fabric at the top of the shoulder. Specially to keep your gun belt from slipping off.
But even better is to sew a button on the edge. That way your gun belt will definitely stay put. Best is of course left and right.
How to charge a deer, alone
Make sure you have a large plank lying around in the jeep or pickup.
Place the plank at an angle against the loading tray. Slide the piece of game onto the shelf. Now you can lift the plank and load the game. One way to do the lifting is to use your leg muscles, better than your back. And your clothes will stay neat too.
Spray bottle – hydrogen peroxide
A small spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide. Spray the liquid on the blood trail and the drops of blood will form foam. This indication of the blood present is easier to follow. Especially in the forest where the color of the leaves and the wet make any tracks harder to follow.
Lumberjack Cross
Shooting pigeons over 40 meters is difficult. But how do you estimate the height of a tree.
An average oak or poplar is 25 feet.

With the “lumberjack’s cross,” you can know in 1 2 3 how tall a tree is.
Find two sticks of equal length. Hold one stick horizontally in front of your eye and the other perpendicular to it. Move so that the tree is completely hidden behind the vertical stick.
Add the distance from your eyes to the ground to the distance from your feet to the trunk and you know approximately how tall the tree is!
Cable tie for Trophies
During battue, as well as bershooting, it is useful to identify the pieces shot. Optimally this succeeds with a cable tie. You have them in different colors, for different hunters.
And with another advantage that they remain intact even after boiling off the head.
