Hunting Habitat – Art
There is also room for Art at the Hunting Site.
Art
Within Hunting and Art a rather specific art form.
Namely one in which the Wild is not only depicted but also used.
The heads of shot game are of course nicely mounted on a shelf and presented as a trophy against the wall.
Dropped rods often end up in a chandelier, complete with lights or candles. Very decorative, but it should fit into your interior.
And if you pay attention and collect all the dropped rods, you can make an Antler bow.
In Antlerart, the rods (Antlers) of the antlers are used to engrave hunting scenes.
And because we can also appreciate other beauties within art, here is a separate composition: Wild Haar.
Rozendaal Isabelle
During the making of her last photo book “Loving Animals”, a fascination for Jagers arose.
And to get to know this world from the inside, Isabelle Rozendaal followed the Hunting Course. Now she follows hunters in Europe, Africa and the US. This should lead to a book with both photos and text.
Below is a video about her work and also her Hunting Training.
Woolf Colin
We would like to present here a special artist Colin Woolf “The artist who paints with a feather”. Indeed, this painter only uses a feather as a material. He started painting about 15 years ago with the “Pin feature” or painter’s feather of the Woodcock.
And, now he has started a new project and hopes to make paintings of different birds, but each with their own feathers.
The birds in question are: Red Grouse, Blackcock, Capercaillie, Ptarmigan, Grey Partridge, Pheasant, Snipe, Teal and of course Woodcock.
And hereby an offer, in return for information or material you will receive a sketch of a Woodcock for free:
- do you have a (small) collection of painter’s feathers, from Woodcock or other, then Colin can do something with it ?
- do you have a special application of a Woodcock “Pin Feather”?
- Or do you have special, not yet known, information about these feathers ?
Contact Hunting and we will transfer to the Artist and you will receive the unique drawing.
