By Water Game we mean the following Subfamilies (according to the Hunting Decree – Art 3):

• Ducks: Ground Ducks and Diving Ducks;
• Geese: Gray and Black Geese;
• Swans;
• Blesh fowl: Meerkoet, Moorhen;
• And then another series: Grebes, Gulls, Wading Birds, Plovers, Riders, …

Furthermore, we are also learning:

That there are separate opening hours for the different types of Water Wildlife;

That the hunting of Water Game may be practiced only with the firearm (Hailgun) or with birds of prey.

However, that hunting with the rifle for water game is permitted on lands of lesser area than provided in § 1, provided that such lands, at the time the hunting is conducted, comprise a minimum contiguous water area of three acres on which hunting is permitted.
