SUPPLIES IN THE KITCHEN:
- Sharp kitchen knife
- Chopping board
- Casserole
- Tray for the apple and onion
- Toaster

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 fresh liver of a roe deer not older than two years

- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 2 sweet onions
- 5 tbsp cinnamon
- 4 TBSP sweet soy sauce
- Butter
- 2 slices of white bread per person
PREPARATION:
- Toast the bread until nicely browned
- Peel the onion and cut it into wedges, put it in a bowl
- Peel the apple, remove the core and cut into pieces of about 1 cm, put these in a bowl as well. Add the cinnamon and stir so that the apple is well coated
- Heat the pan with a small knob of butter
- When the butter is nicely browned, fry the onion in it over medium heat
- Cut off the thick membrane of the liver and cut away the round part where a vein used to be, cut the liver into pieces of about two cm.
For this you need a sharp knife otherwise the liver will fall apart
- If the onion is nicely browned, this can be done with the liquid in a container
- Melt a good knob of butter in the pan. When the butter is nicely browned, fry the liver nicely brown all over medium heat.
- Lower the heat and pour the Ketjap Manis over it, stir well. Ketjap Manis contains sugar and it should not burn because then it will become bitter
- After 2 minutes you can spoon the sauce and liver onto your plate or toast and you can prepare the plates as you like.
