Here we see the consequences of a disturbance this afternoon on staverden. Highly volatile small animal against the tree and died. The last few days many disturbances at Staverden and Leuvenum. People don’t seem to realize what they can do when you are off the trails or too late in the forest.
I spent the whole evening typing to people who think it’s the wolf or people who just walk along the path. I got this video from our boa and he knows better than anyone how red deer behave. The chance that it is a wolf is minimal. It is very busy with people so that wolf really doesn’t show itself there during the day. I am in contact with several boas in this area and this is a probability bordering on certainty disturbance by people in the resting area. When red deer encounter hikers at the normal times on the paths, they do not behave in the way shown in the video.
