CIC inspections for hunting trophies on 6 and 12 September 2026

Two more CIC quoting sessions for hunting trophies will take place in September. Hunters who want to have their trophy officially inspected can do so on Sunday, September 6, 2026 in Torhout or Saturday, September 12, 2026 in Vlimmeren. Both inspections take place from 9 am to 2 pm.

Which hunting trophies can be judged?

During the odds sessions, different types of hunting trophies can be offered for judging. These include trophies of:

• roebuck
• Red deer
• wild boar
• muntjac
• mouflon
• Chamois
• …

It is important that the trophies have gone through a mandatory drying time of at least 30 days before the inspection.

Where do the CIC inspections take place?

Two different moments are planned in September.

6 September 2026 – Torhout
Voeders d’Aussy
Ambachtstraat 27

12 September 2026 – Vlimmeren
Lokaal Vlimmerlee
Kerkhofstraat 1
2340 Vlimmeren
Antwerp – Belgium

Both sessions take place from 9 am to 2 pm.

How to participate?

Anyone who wants to have a trophy judged on 6 or 12 September must confirm their participation before 1 September 2026 . You can register by phone or e-mail.

Those who cannot be present on the day of the judging itself can make an individual appointment to bring in the trophy in advance and pick it up again afterwards.

What does a CIC examination cost?

The price depends on the result of the inspection.

A trophy that achieves a medal costs €50, including the medal. For a trophy that does not win a medal, the cost is €20.
