Beretta

Who doesn’t know the Italian coat of arms from Val Trompia? For almost 500 years, the company has been an established name in the gunsmithing sector. Initially, Beretta started out as a walker. This grew further and in 1600 they were already making full weapons. Add to that more than 400 years and in the meantime the company has already made some great acquisitions. Sako, Tikka, Steiner, Burris, Chapuis, Benelli, Victrix, …

Perhaps most spectacular of all is the fact that Beretta is still in the hands of the Beretta family. It is not easy to keep a company in family hands generation after generation, but the Beretta family has been doing this for 15 generations. This also shows why Beretta invests in its products in the long term. Since it benefits the family, not only the short term is important. As you will be told, quality comes first.

But enough text and explanation. In this post we would like to give you an insight into the Beretta factories in Italy. We take you to the mass production weapons where as much as possible is automated with an eye for detail and a personal finish. Finally, we will also take you to the premium department where the luxury weapons are made and where everything is handmade and individually manufactured.
