The moment when feral pigeons can be shot is just around the corner. Every year, pigeon fanciers are asked to loft their pigeons from 20 December to 10 January . This makes it possible for hunters to control feral pigeons during that period. Due to the emergence of large populations, these pigeons cause more and more nuisance and also disturb other racing pigeons. That is why an appeal is made to all hunters to help with the management of the feral pigeon population during this period, with respect for the applicable legislation.
