Foreword hunting
A gracious hunter has the task of looking for a shot piece, but not every hunter has a dog that can perform such work… It is important to “mark” the first indications (blood, hair and leg) at the site of the shot. The first few meters, you can follow the track yourself, analyze it (do not step on the track!) If the track (at dense cover, vegetation) decreases or takes place, we recommend that you bring a final marking and resume the search the next day (evening sitting) together with a trained dog and handler.
If you have problems finding a shot piece of big game, you can always call on the VZG. Here you will find a list of contacts per region/province.
