What exactly is GAIM?
GAIM is a VR shooting and hunting simulator that uses a realistic ballistic engine and immersive scenarios to train your skills. Using a Meta Quest VR headset (such as Quest 2, Quest 3 or Quest Pro), you can move through 360° environments, analyse your shot and work on your technique – ideal for training your instincts and memory outside of the physical hunt or shooting range.
Within GAIM you can train in different disciplines. The simulator is not a ‘game’ in the classic sense, but a serious training tool that is already used by many hunters and sport shooters to improve technique, precision and muscle memory.

What do you need to get started?
To use a GAIM simulator you always need a Meta Quest VR headset. This is not included by default with the simulators and you have to purchase it separately.
In addition, you can expand your training with additional scenarios, analysis tools and accessories. The basic packages contain the necessary hardware for the weapon feel (such as wooden weapon/trigger), but the software license depends on the chosen package.
