On Saturday, September 20, 2025, another festive edition of the Day of the Flemish Hunter will take place, organized by HVV Antwerp. The location traditionally remains the Frisomat site in Wijnegem (Stokerijstraat 79, 2110 Wijnegem), and as in previous years, admission is completely free.

What used to be known as the Day of the Antwerp Hunter, officially opens its doors to all hunters in Flanders, as well as family, friends and sympathizers. This name change emphasizes the broad invitation: anyone with an interest in hunting and outdoor life is very welcome.

During this day you can enjoy a richly filled program with:

  • Demonstrations on archery, falconry, hunting dogs, legislation, taxidermy, and more

  • Informative stands about night vision goggles, weapons, high seats and wildlife management, among other things

  • Commercial stands with hunting clothing, accessories and seasonal products

  • Children’s entertainment and bouncy castle

  • Food and drink stands with game dishes and regional beers

Traditionally, there is also the Antwerp roebuck exhibition and the official CIC inspection.

The day will end with a cozy bar and an animated VIP dinner, for which registration is required before August 31 via info@dagvandevlaamsejager.be. Please note that the number of places is limited to 85 people.

All practical information, the program and updates can be found on the official website:
