Minister Zuhal Demir (NV-A) opposes Natuurpunt’s plans to cut down 28 hectares of forest in the De Maten nature reserve in Diepenbeek and Genk. “It is out of the question that such a large area would be cut down. Especially when this is not accompanied by compensation,” she responds.
