Last Pressure Hunt of 2022

Between Christmas and New Year, the last “Battue Silencieux” was on the program in Oignies-en-Thiérache.
During the holidays the right time to escape the crowds for a while. I wouldn’t spend the hunting day
alone on the high seat this time.

A few weeks ago I invited Adriaan to go hunting with me.
He had no idea what to expect and that’s the interesting thing about it.
Bringing someone with an open mindset and without prejudice. Throughout the day, the
most diverse questions were asked, from “why are you hunting” to “why didn’t you shoot now?”.

There is nothing more fun than taking someone who is still a “layman” in the field of hunting and immersing him
completely in the atmosphere of hunting. With the necessary emotion and camaraderie before, during and after the hunt. I would recommend it to everyone. In this way you can show the hunt from
the inside and they can also inform people about what the hunt entails exactly.

The day started very promising. After 10 minutes 2 deer came close to the high seat.The pressure to see game was gone and this trend continued throughout the day, so that wild boars and a fox were alsospotted. Unfortunately, it didn’t come to a shot. As a nice extra, Adriaan can
also handle his camera very well, resulting in this photo reportage.
