In view of the delay in the shooting plans, the Walloon government decided on 23 December 2021 to extend the period for bers, sittings and driven hunting of wild game and small deer of the species ‘red deer’ until 31 January 2022. (AGW: HERE)
The hunting of wild boar, also in battue, is open, as stipulated in the decree to open the hunt for five years.
Roe deer, mouflons, fallow deer and large deer will be closed as of 1 January 2022.
