Some key points from the protocol

• The key message remains: keep a distance of 1.5 m, wear a mouth mask if that distance is not guaranteed.
• Any gathering of more than 10 people outdoors is prohibited. Deploying different bubbles on one hunting area is allowed, but the different groups must keep a distance of at least 50 meters from each other (and 25 meters during drift).
• Persons who are in contact with or have been in contact with an infected person less than ten days before the hunting activity are not allowed to participate in the hunting activity.
• Laying a tableau is prohibited, as is offering a collective meal.
• Organisation through a de facto association, non-profit organisation, WBE, … is not foreseen.
• Since 3 November, you can read on info-coronavirus.be that the hunting of wild boar can be considered an essential movement. Moving between 0.00 and 5.00 a.m. for the purpose of carrying out this activity is therefore permitted. During an inspection, one must always be able to identify oneself.

In order to be able to hunt corona-proof, Hubertus Vereniging Vlaanderen wrote a script, with concrete tips for those who organize a hunting day and for those who are invited. This scenario is updated with every change in the corona rules.

Be sure to forward the script (and the frequently asked questions) to friends and acquaintances – because only together can the virus be overcome.
