L\u2019Institut de recherche pour la nature et la for\u00eat<\/em> (INBO) a r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9 de nouveaux chiffres sur les dommages caus\u00e9s aux cultures agricoles par le gibier. Cela montre que 2024 a \u00e9t\u00e9 une ann\u00e9e record<\/strong> pour les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts caus\u00e9s par les sangliers. Au total, plus de 2 000 r\u00e9clamations<\/strong> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9es, la grande majorit\u00e9 concernant des parcelles agricoles. <\/p>\n

La plupart des signalements proviennent de la province du Limbourg<\/strong>, o\u00f9 la population de sanglier est la plus importante. Les dommages par enracinement aux prairies<\/g> et aux parcelles de ma\u00efs<\/g> \u00e9taient particuli\u00e8rement fr\u00e9quents. Ces d\u00e9g\u00e2ts entra\u00eenent des co\u00fbts consid\u00e9rables pour les agriculteurs, mais aussi pour les chasseurs et gestionnaires responsables de la gestion de la population. <\/p>\n

Bien que les agriculteurs puissent demander une indemnisation, beaucoup trouvent cela difficile en raison des conditions strictes et du fardeau administratif. Les organisations agricoles r\u00e9clament donc un dispositif plus flexible et un meilleur soutien aux entreprises concern\u00e9es. <\/p>\n

Pour limiter les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts, des efforts sont d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour intensifier la gestion de la faune<\/strong>, incluant la chasse cibl\u00e9e et de nouveaux outils. Les projets pilotes montrent qu\u2019une approche bien r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie peut consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duire le nombre de r\u00e9clamations. <\/p>\n
