Non seulement les chasseurs autochtones utilisent des arcs et des fl\u00e8ches aujourd\u2019hui, mais aussi une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de chasseurs d\u00e9joue leurs proies avec une version moderne de l\u2019arc. Ces arcs sont fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de mat\u00e9riaux et de technologies modernes qui les rendent non seulement tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis, mais aussi suffisamment puissants pour traverser compl\u00e8tement un buffle d\u2019Afrique. Il n\u2019est donc pas surprenant que cette tendance, originaire d\u2019Am\u00e9rique et connaissant une croissance industrielle exponentielle, ait \u00e9galement rapidement atteint le territoire europ\u00e9en. <\/span><\/p>\n

La France et la Finlande ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les premiers pays europ\u00e9ens \u00e0 autoriser l\u2019utilisation d\u2019arcs et de fl\u00e8ches. De plus en plus de pays embo\u00eetent le pas, c\u2019est pourquoi la chasse \u00e0 l\u2019arc est d\u00e9sormais incluse comme moyen de chasse l\u00e9gal dans plus de la moiti\u00e9 des pays europ\u00e9ens. <\/span><\/p>\n

Le tir \u00e0 l\u2019arc en Belgique n\u2019\u00e9tait autoris\u00e9 qu\u2019en Wallonie. Une zone grise dans la l\u00e9gislation wallonne sur la chasse, \u00e0 savoir l\u2019utilisation des mots \u00ab chasse \u00e0 tir \u00bb n\u2019indique pas sp\u00e9cifiquement que l\u2019arc est interdit et permet donc de l\u2019utiliser l\u00e9galement. Malgr\u00e9 quelques doutes, cela a maintenant \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement reconnu par le gouvernement. C\u2019est parce que l\u2019arc n\u2019est pas vraiment adapt\u00e9 pour un jeu qui d\u00e9borde rapidement \u00e0 adresser. <\/span><\/p>\n

Officiellement, aucune formation ou licence suppl\u00e9mentaire n\u2019est requise pour pratiquer le tir \u00e0 l\u2019arc en Wallonie. Vous n\u2019avez besoin que de votre permis de chasse normal (o\u00f9 vous n\u2019avez qu\u2019\u00e0 prouver que vous savez manier des armes \u00e0 feu). Nous vous recommandons donc de suivre une formation aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019Association flamande de chasse \u00e0 l\u2019arc afin d\u2019\u00eatre bien pr\u00e9par\u00e9 \u00e0 la chasse \u00e0 l\u2019arc. <\/span><\/p>\n

La chasse \u00e0 l\u2019arc n\u2019est pas encore autoris\u00e9e en Flandre. Le gros probl\u00e8me ici est que les armes de chasse l\u00e9gales \u00e0 utiliser sont d\u00e9crites dans la loi, ce qui fait de l\u2019ajout ou de la modification de cette loi une question politique. Avec quelques amis, nous essayons de faire pression ici pour que la chasse \u00e0 l\u2019arc soit \u00e9galement l\u00e9galis\u00e9e en Flandre. <\/span><\/p>\n

Pour moi et pour de nombreux chasseurs \u00e0 l\u2019arc, c\u2019est la proximit\u00e9 du gibier qui rend la chasse \u00e0 l\u2019arc si attrayante. C\u2019est l\u2019une des raisons pour lesquelles de nombreux chasseurs passent de la \u00ab s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l\u2019arme \u00e0 feu \u00bb au \u00ab handicap d\u2019un arc \u00bb. <\/p>\n

En plus du fait que l\u2019arc est une arme tr\u00e8s s\u00fbre, l\u2019arc ne fait presque pas de bruit, de sorte que le jeu est \u00e9galement moins perturb\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 un tir d\u2019arme \u00e0 feu. Certaines personnes moins inform\u00e9es concluraient que cela fait de l\u2019arc une arme parfaite pour les braconniers, mais rien ne pourrait \u00eatre plus \u00e9loign\u00e9 de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Il est presque impossible d\u2019utiliser l\u2019arche la nuit depuis une voiture. Vous avez besoin de beaucoup de formation et vous courez le risque de laisser des preuves comme une fl\u00e8che. Les braconniers ont besoin de quelque chose de petit et rapide, facile \u00e0 utiliser et \u00e0 ranger. Il s\u2019agit g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement d\u2019armes \u00e0 feu de petit calibre avec des silencieux et des lunettes de vision, m\u00eame avec des lunettes de vision nocturne. <\/p>\n

La r\u00e9ponse est simple !
\n<\/span>Presque toutes les esp\u00e8ces chassables peuvent \u00eatre chass\u00e9es avec succ\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019arc. Pour de nombreux chasseurs \u00e0 l\u2019arc mais aussi pour moi, le chevreuil est l\u2019une des plus belles esp\u00e8ces chassables.
\n<\/span>Tout chasseur qui chasse le chevreuil et qui a un plan de gestion s\u00e9lective sait qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019un \u00ab travail \u00e0 plein temps \u00bb. Un chasseur \u00e0 l\u2019arc qui sort sans pr\u00e9paration aura peu ou pas de succ\u00e8s et certainement pas sur un beau vieux m\u00e2le aguerri.
\n<\/span>Un bon chasseur qui veut \u00e9tirer son m\u00e2le sp\u00e9cifique doit trouver un bon \u00e9quilibre entre le travail, la famille et la chasse. Ce ne sont pas seulement les innombrables heures pass\u00e9es sur le si\u00e8ge haut ou le bersen, mais aussi le temps dont vous disposez pour chercher votre argent hors saison en pla\u00e7ant et en d\u00e9pla\u00e7ant des cam\u00e9ras animali\u00e8res, \u00e0 la recherche de lieux de balayage et de lieux de couchage, qui sont importants. J\u2019essaie de d\u00e9couvrir autant de zone que possible afin de pouvoir me faire une id\u00e9e de l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 se trouvent les ch\u00e8vres et de l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 les m\u00e2les finiront par se retrouver.
\n<\/span>L\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, en mai, j\u2019avais vu assez de m\u00e2les depuis un si\u00e8ge \u00e9lev\u00e9 fixe qui avait une vue sur une coupe \u00e0 blanc ainsi que quelques chances en bernant dans les for\u00eats de ch\u00eanes avec des foug\u00e8res denses, mais \u00e0 part un gros rat\u00e9, je n\u2019ai pas pu faire de butin. Croyez-moi, j\u2019ai essay\u00e9.
\n<\/span>\u00c0 la fin du mois, j\u2019avais suffisamment d\u2019informations pour \u00e9laborer un plan. Un certain soir, avec la cam\u00e9ra, j\u2019ai pu filmer un beau cerf, mais avec les mauvaises conditions de lumi\u00e8re, je n\u2019ai pas pu l\u2019aborder \u00e0 100 %.
\n<\/span>La saison se termine \u00e0 la fin du mois de mai et rouvre le 15 juillet<\/span>, qui tombe juste avant le rut.
\n<\/span>Le rut est quelque chose de sp\u00e9cial et la plupart des ann\u00e9es, il doit se produire dans ces quelques jours o\u00f9 les m\u00e2les plus \u00e2g\u00e9s baissent un peu leur prudence pour courtiser les ch\u00e8vres.
\n<\/span>Trop chaud et l\u2019action se d\u00e9place au milieu de la nuit, trop humide et le rut se tait. Mais si vous \u00eates au bon endroit et au bon moment, vous assisterez \u00e0 des sc\u00e8nes magiques.
\n<\/span>Appeler le cerf est une autre affaire. Habituellement, cela fonctionne mieux avec des sp\u00e9cimens plus jeunes. Les m\u00e2les plus \u00e2g\u00e9s entendent les mauvais coups de feu de loin et ne tombent plus dans le panneau. Ils ne vieillissent pas en \u00e9tant stupides. Pendant les derniers jours du rut, cela devient parfois frustrant. J\u2019ai r\u00e9duit le pi\u00e9geage depuis le support d\u2019arbre et j\u2019ai attendu plus longtemps entre les sessions.
\n<\/span>Le jour o\u00f9 j\u2019ai suppos\u00e9 que le rut \u00e9tait compl\u00e8tement termin\u00e9, un cerf a march\u00e9 sur la coupe \u00e0 blanc apr\u00e8s que j\u2019ai seulement envoy\u00e9 des fieps dans la for\u00eat. Il s\u2019est directement assis sur le si\u00e8ge haut, je n\u2019ai donc pas eu d\u2019autre choix que de tirer imm\u00e9diatement ma r\u00e9v\u00e9rence. Un petit fiep a suffi \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eater \u00e0 30m avant qu\u2019il ne disparaisse dans les foug\u00e8res. Avec un arc gracieux, la fl\u00e8che dispara\u00eet dans les parties vitales du chevreuil. Tr\u00e9buchant et ne sachant pas ce qui vient de se passer, il saute quelques m\u00e8tres plus loin puis tombe \u00e0 sa derni\u00e8re demeure.
\n<\/span>La chasse est une passion avec de bons et de mauvais moments, mais apr\u00e8s tout le travail et le temps que vous investissez, le sentiment de se d\u00e9fouler et de r\u00e9ussir l\u2019emporte sur tous les moments d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9s que vous avez eus.
\n<\/span>Un tir parfait avec une fl\u00e8che n\u2019entra\u00eene pas une perte de gibier et la plupart des bouchers pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent traiter une pi\u00e8ce avec l\u2019arc plut\u00f4t qu\u2019avec une balle de calibre plus lourd. Ils nous ont donn\u00e9 l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de devenir des instructeurs officiels de JFO afin que nous puissions \u00e9galement enseigner ici. Entre-temps, nous avons donn\u00e9 cette formation fran\u00e7aise en plusieurs langues \u00e0 un public international et \u00e0 des chasseurs \u00e0 l\u2019arc exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s. <\/span><\/p>\n
