J\u2019essayais depuis des ann\u00e9es de trouver un m\u00e2le flamand d\u00e9cent, mais jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, je n\u2019avais r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 attirer que des ch\u00e8vres et des jeunes m\u00e2les avec le fiep. J\u2019\u00e9tais frustr\u00e9 et d\u00e9\u00e7u, et j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 penser que je n\u2019\u00e9tais tout simplement pas capable de ma\u00eetriser la bonne technique. Mais au d\u00e9but de cette ann\u00e9e, j\u2019ai eu une nouvelle chance. Hunting Europe a organis\u00e9 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement sp\u00e9cial o\u00f9 Sam Neyt, un chasseur renomm\u00e9 et expert en sifflet, est venu partager ses connaissances et ses comp\u00e9tences. J\u2019\u00e9tais d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 saisir cette opportunit\u00e9 \u00e0 deux mains et \u00e0 apprendre de l\u2019un des meilleurs du secteur. <\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 dans un pavillon de chasse isol\u00e9, cach\u00e9 au fond de la for\u00eat. Sam Neyt a commenc\u00e9 sa d\u00e9monstration en montrant diff\u00e9rents sifflets leurres et en expliquant comment les utiliser. Lorsqu\u2019il a sorti le Belblatt, j\u2019ai imm\u00e9diatement senti que cela pourrait \u00eatre la cl\u00e9 pour attirer un vrai m\u00e2le flamand. <\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir expliqu\u00e9 les bases de l\u2019utilisation du Belblatt. Il nous a montr\u00e9 comment souffler correctement dans le fiep pour imiter le son d\u2019une ch\u00e8vre ou de chatons. Il a expliqu\u00e9 que le timing et la subtilit\u00e9 \u00e9taient essentiels pour attirer l\u2019attention d\u2019un m\u00e2le fort, et qu\u2019il \u00e9tait important d\u2019\u00eatre patient. Arm\u00e9 de mes connaissances nouvellement acquises et du Belblatt, j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 ma propre aventure de chasse. J\u2019ai trouv\u00e9 un endroit strat\u00e9gique sur un belv\u00e9d\u00e8re, d\u2019o\u00f9 j\u2019avais une bonne vue sur un champ ouvert. Le soleil a lentement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 se lever et le brouillard matinal s\u2019est lentement lev\u00e9. C\u2019\u00e9tait une sc\u00e8ne atmosph\u00e9rique, impr\u00e9gn\u00e9e d\u2019anticipation.
\nJ\u2019ai pris une profonde inspiration et j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 jouer prudemment avec le Belblatt. Le son sonnait clair et r\u00e9sonnait \u00e0 travers la for\u00eat. Je me suis concentr\u00e9 sur la technique que Sam nous avait enseign\u00e9e et j\u2019ai essay\u00e9 de rendre le son aussi naturel que possible. Les minutes ont pass\u00e9 et j\u2019ai attendu patiemment.[\/vc_column_text][vc_video link=\u00a0\u00bbhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rAIt2CRA5wk\u00a0\u00bb][vc_column_text]Malheureusement, rien ne s\u2019est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9, est-ce que je l\u2019ai si mal fait ? J\u2019ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de changer de place au bout d\u2019une demi-heure. J\u2019ai saut\u00e9 dans la voiture et je suis all\u00e9 de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la chasse. \u00c0 vol d\u2019oiseau, \u00e0 un kilom\u00e8tre de l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 je me tenais. L\u00e0, j\u2019ai pris place dans une for\u00eat de h\u00eatres. Avant d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e0 ma place, j\u2019avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 rejet\u00e9 un chevreuil avec des petits avec un autre jeune m\u00e2le. J\u2019ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019attendre une vingtaine de minutes et pendant ce temps, d\u2019\u00e9couter \u00e0 nouveau, en silence, le fragment vid\u00e9o de Sam que j\u2019avais enregistr\u00e9 pendant l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement. <\/p>\n

Le temps a pass\u00e9 et j\u2019ai progressivement recommenc\u00e9 avec le kitsfiep, environ 5 fois, puis une minute ou deux de repos. Encore environ 6 fois le kitsfiep et encore deux \u00e0 trois minutes de repos. Apr\u00e8s cette p\u00e9riode, j\u2019ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019essayer le fiep de ch\u00e8vre. Cela quatre fois et puis une autre minute de repos. <\/p>\n

Soudain, de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation dense du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la for\u00eat, j\u2019ai entendu des feuilles de h\u00eatre bruire. Mon c\u0153ur s\u2019est mis \u00e0 battre plus vite d\u2019excitation. J\u2019ai retenu mon souffle et je me suis assis sans bouger. Et il \u00e9tait l\u00e0, \u00e0 seulement 50 m\u00e8tres de moi aujourd\u2019hui, il est sorti de la couverture. \u00c0 la recherche de sa ch\u00e8vre. Ses bois \u00e9taient impressionnants, avec de longues branches qui se dressaient fi\u00e8rement. Mon c\u0153ur s\u2019est mis \u00e0 battre plus vite \u00e0 la vue du cerf majestueux. Avec pr\u00e9caution, j\u2019ai pris les jumelles pour mieux identifier le m\u00e2le. Lentement, le cerf a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 marcher dans ma direction, dans la direction d\u2019o\u00f9 venait le son. Il se d\u00e9pla\u00e7ait \u00e9l\u00e9gamment entre les arbres, les yeux fix\u00e9s sur l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 je me cachais. Mon c\u0153ur battait la chamade dans ma gorge alors que je retenais mon souffle. <\/p>\n

Soudain, j\u2019ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que j\u2019assistais \u00e0 un moment unique, quelque chose que je n\u2019avais jamais v\u00e9cu auparavant. Ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas seulement la chasse au cerf, mais aussi un moment de connexion entre l\u2019homme et l\u2019animal, o\u00f9 le respect et l\u2019admiration se rencontraient. J\u2019ai ressenti une profonde appr\u00e9ciation pour cette belle cr\u00e9ation de la nature. <\/p>\n

Comme le cerf s\u2019approchait sans cesse dans ma direction, il m\u2019\u00e9tait impossible d\u2019\u00e9pauler mon fusil. Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que soudain, un h\u00e9risson plus loin sur la route d\u00e9cide de s\u2019enfuir. Le cerf a saut\u00e9 \u00e0 180 degr\u00e9s et a regard\u00e9 le h\u00e9risson avec des yeux d\u2019argus. C\u2019\u00e9tait ma chance, le pistolet \u00e0 la main et le Belblatt dans la gueule. J\u2019ai os\u00e9 utiliser \u00e0 nouveau le kitsfiep pendant une courte p\u00e9riode. En cons\u00e9quence, le cerf est devenu feuillu. <\/p>\n
