The purpose of the European firearms pass is to inform the police services and administrative authorities of all countries of the European Union to which a private firearms owner wishes to travel with his weapons about the legality of his possession of firearms in Belgium. It is, as it were, a travel pass for firearms on which, in some cases, visas from the countries visited still have to be affixed. <\/p>\n

The European firearms pass in no way replaces the necessary permits to have firearms in Belgium. The governor of the province in question is authorized to deliver it. To enable a smooth processing of your applications, it is best to apply for the European firearms pass at least one month in advance. <\/p>\n
