No, in fact a hunting season continues, in the months of February to the end of March there is still plenty of hunting. Deer goats and calves are hunted, among other things, to maintain a healthy population. January is also a top month for Reintje, who is thinking about the offspring, and is also active every day. There are additional conditions attached to hunting roe deer. A roe deer culling plan is only granted to game management units and to hunters with a hunting area that is either at least 1000 ha in size or that includes at least 250 ha cover. <\/p>\n

When assessing the culling application, the Agency for Nature and Forests takes into account the criteria of the three-year culling plan for roe deer. A calculation module can be found on www.reewild.be<\/a>. <\/p>\n
