After the shot, these wads are almost impossible to find, leaving them behind in forests, grain fields, meadows and rivers. The wads that were shot 50 years ago are still there today and will still be there in 500 years.   <\/p>\n<p>The Netherlands has about 28,000 hunters. If we assume the absolute minimum \u2013 that each hunter shoots an average of 50 rounds per year \u2013 then we are talking about 1,400,000 plastic wads that are left behind in nature. BioAmmo&#8217;s was founded in 2008 when, after a game of airsoft, founder Enrique L\u00f3pez saw fluorescent yellow, plastic balls left behind in the forest. He wanted to come up with a solution for that. His thoughts immediately expanded to other parties who have an interest in this. The link to hunters and sport shooters was then quickly made.    <\/p>\n<h3>Present and future<\/h3>\n<p>BioAmmo&#8217;s ammunition has now put itself on the international map as the most environmentally friendly in the world.
