It is a bi-national exercise with Belgian and French units. Almost a thousand people and about two hundred and forty vehicles will participate. <\/p>\n

A team from the headquarters of the motorized brigade MARCHE-EN-FAMENNE (HQ Mot Bde), the organizing unit, is currently visiting the municipalities concerned and the directorates of Prov Lux DNF to inform the authorities and obtain the necessary support to carry out this important military activity.<\/p>\n

An information meeting for civil authorities will be held on 18 September at 10:00 (date and time to be confirmed).<\/p>\n

The (central) location is the Administration Communale de Libramont-Chevigny, Place Communale, 9, 6800 Libramont-Chevigny.<\/p>\n

You and your respective directors are of course invited to this meeting (please inform them in advance).<\/p>\n

We hope that we can once again count on your unwavering and valuable cooperation in informing the various cantonments involved and finding alternatives to any hunting restrictions.<\/p>\n

I will certainly keep you informed of the progress of this important issue and will of course be happy to provide you with any further information you may need.<\/p>\n

The MDDs related to these activities will be prepared and sent to you in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

We are aware that the annual hunting season will certainly give rise to some adjustments… In order to limit these modifications, the HQ Mot Bde team, which is currently on an information tour, has explained or will explain the main phases of this maneuver on the civilian terrain. <\/p>\n

The exercise (called “Celtic Uprise”) starts at the Roi ALBERT military camp in MARCHE-EN-FAMENNE and ends at the LAGLAND military camp.<\/p>\n

The following municipalities are affected: MARCHE-EN-FAMENNE – NASSOGNE – SAINT-HUBERT – BERTRIX – SAINTE-ODE – LIBRAMONT-CHEVIGNY – VAUX-SUR-S\u00dbRE – NEUFCH\u00c2TEAU – LEGLISE – HABAY and ARLON.<\/p>\n
