Specifically given their use for after-hunt work on big game. <\/p>\n<p>The name Sweat Dog comes from following the blood trail of the stricken animal. The body is short with deep chest. The ribs are well arched. Back is straight and strong. Moderately long legs. Except on the head, small white markings are allowed. <\/li>\n<li>Head and skull: The head is narrow in proportion to its length and long in proportion to the body. The skin falls into folds. The muzzle is as wide as the skull. No stop. Seen from above, the skull therefore looks equally wide throughout. Seen from the side, the line of the skull almost continues in the line of the muzzle. The eyebrows do not protrude, although this appears so because of the deep-set eyes, which are dark hazel to slightly yellow in color. The eyes show sagging eyelids. The ears are very long, thin and fall down in folds. The lower parts curl inward and backward. Scissor bite.          <\/li>\n<li>Tail: Long and thick, tapering to the end. Set high.
